Local Clinic?: Ultimately, you will need to see a dentist. Is there a dental school in your area? Check and see if your area has a free clinic. Maybe barter with a dentist. The longer you wait, the more difficult your situation will get.

Pain medication: There are some excellent over the counter pain medicines like Ibuprofen and Aleve (naproxen) that work quite well. Sometimes you may need a perscription strength medicine to be strong enough to help. Either case, these are temporary measures until you get to the source of the teeth pain. Even though you don't have insurance, go see a dentist, most are compassionate and will work with you on the costs.

Oil of cloves: You can often relieve pain with a drop or two of oil of clove. The drug store does sell some kind of toothache drops or material to put into a hole in a tooth to relieve pain. The question is which state do you live in? In ny we have medicaid, which pays: we have clinics/hospitals for free care. Dentistry is not an entitlement from the gov't. Join the army and get free care. Look4low rent dentist.

Go first..: Go to a dentist and find out what is causing the extreme pain and get some relief. Then you can get into what your dental needs are. The treatment for what is really hurting shouldn't really be too expensive unless you go with an alternative treatment that is. Like getting a tooth extracted instead of a root canal. Good luck.
