Many ways to skew #s: Success rates matter when choosing a clinic but patient selection skews them. A center that helps as many patients as possible to try ivf with their own eggs will appear to have "lower success rates" than one that directs women to donor egg sooner or turns patients away. Comparing donor egg success rates is more 'apples to apples'. Recommendations from friends, former patients, referring mds count.
