Be patient: Your daughter is very young to expect her to grasp these things. Just be patient in showing her what to do and try to establish a fun routine and eventually she will catch on.

You must help her: She's way too young to properly brush her own teeth. Do it for her and let her participate when she shows interest but the only way to address her oral hygiene is if you manage it until she's older. Sorry, can't offer much on the potty front.

Too young: Only 25% of toddlers are potty trained at 2 years & essentially none brush their teeth without help. At this age they are entrenched in the counter dependency stage where they don't want you to leave their area but don't want you to interfere with what they are doing. This will pass.Give the kid at least another year & life will be easier.

Brushing teeth. : Teaching kids to brush their teeth is difficult. Expecting them to see the value in doing this daily is unreasonable at this age. Just assist your child daily and they'll feel that it's a habit that everyone around does regularly.

Needs help: At one and a half your child does not have the eye-hand coordination to brush, melt alone floss, and certainly doesn't have the ability to concentrate. You will have to clean her teeth and encourage her to participate. A pediatric dental specialist can suggest many helpful techniques. Similarly, your child is probably not yet ready for potty training. See your pediatrician.
