Yes and no: The decision to cut ties with someone is up to you. The use of hypnosis to reduce the emotional ties's effects on you is a standard use of hypnotherapy.

Letting Go: Hypnosis is one way to disengage from a relationship that is not good for you or to resolve love pain. This may include stepping back from the emotional pain and allowing it to dissipate and also coming to understand the relationship in a deeper sense. This gives you the space to move on.

Hypnosis?: May or may not , but if u have reasons of cutting emotional ties and u r convinced of that , u should have enough will and determination to do that without hypnosis.

No true short cuts: Sorry, there are no short cuts to working through these painful issues. Discussing these issues with friends and family can be helpful, but they won't have the neutrality or skills of a therapist. By neutrality i mean that friends and family will want to protect their relationships with you and will tell you what they think you want to hear. If stuck, see a therapist. Good luck!

Take your power back: The first thing to realize is that no one can hurt you unless you give them permission...Take your power back, understand your worth and try to see the relationship for what it really was...Not the romanticized version. Hypnosis can help with the emotional pain you feel, but it's up to you to work through the underlying issues. A therapist can help.
