Surgical Scars: Question best directed to your surgeon . Probably midline incision would be used. Surgeon would have to deal with scar tissue (adhesions)from prior surgeries as well as gain access to the areas of concern for the planned surgery. The degree of adhesions present can make the surgery potentially more difficult so the surgeon will wish to make an incision that assures the best exposure.
