Can a tooth be extracted (rct failure)in a bells palsy patient 64/m who is under medication with gabapentin & pregabalin since 9 months ?

It should be OK: Gabapentin(also known as neurontin) and pregabalin( also called lyrica) are very similar medines approved by the fda to treat or prevent seizures, also are commmonly prescribed for nerve pain. Neither one shoould cause any complications related to dental work. They might also help reduce the discomfort associated with dental extraction.

Yes: Because bell's palsy can be triggered by events like dental extraction you need to be medically and dentally evaluated by an experienced oral surgeon who can take all your issues into account and recommend appropriate treatment. This may involve medications to reduce complications. If the rct has failed the tooth needs to be removed.
