You're 20?: Women with tof can successfully carry pregnancies to full term. If you're healthy and active and otherwise feeling well, it's possible. You should be under the close supervision of your pediatric/adult congenital cardiologist who knows the specifics of your condition such as your pulmonary artery pressure and arrhythmia status.

It is important...: ...To find an adult congenital heart specialist or a pediatric cardiologist who still sees adult patients. These specialists will need to partner with a high risk ob/gyn if they determine that your heart is healthy enough for pregnancy. They may recommend procedures such as an echo, cardiac MRI or even a catheterization before determining your risk.
