Hard to say: Pain in the chest and upper back can be a sign of heart problems, a blood clot or a small number of other serious problems; however, most of the time it is not serious. A normal ekg and enzymes is reassuring but may or may not be sufficient depending on your specific situation. You should speak with your doctor or be rechecked if you are not improving as expected.

It may be a : Condition known as a costochondritis which can cause pain in the distribution described and usually occurs spontaneously or after a cold or flu with usually a resolution over time but anti inflammatory medication can help if no contraindications as well as some other types of medication if your doctor recommends anything else instead or in addition to the anti inflammatories
