Maybe: A growing nodule, even if slow growing, can be very serious. These are complex issues, and symptoms like these deserve a full evaluation in person by your health care provider.

See your doctor: A growing nodule that had not changed in years is not likely cancer, but an ultrasound or other imaging study is in order to define what exactly is on your kidney.

Depends: Slow growing nodule over several years period- is obviously less worrisome than something that grows rapidly over months. That makes it less urgent for doing something like surgery. Continued observation would be a valid option as well-so long as you are monitored regularly with sonogram for instance. I suggest you to discuss this matter with your doctor - surveillance vs. More agressive approach.
