Stop that activity!: You won't hear it too often from doctors telling you to stop exercising but if a specific activity causes pain, then stop doing it! that doesn't mean stop all exercise altogether. By all means keep doing other things that don't bring on pain but give that specific area a chance to rest & heal. Ice is also good for injuries. Go see your doc if you're no better in 7-10 days or if worsening sympto.
