Underactive thyroid: Undesired weight gain, especially despite not eating much, might be due to an underactive thyroid. Go see your family doc for simple blood test. Also ask to see a nutritionist to be sure you're actually eating properly. Don't forget that you also need to exercise so that your metabolism is at least equal if not greater than your caloric intake.
