Gallbladder: They are checking to see if your gallbladder has stones- if it does that may explain your pain.

Diagnosis.: I would imagine your presenting issue has not been confidently diagnosed. A right upper quadrant ultrasound is generally used to assess the liver, gallbladder, some of the pancreas and the associated ductal system.
