My 18 year old nephew had a ct scan to rule out appendicitis which it was not, but the ct scan showed a mass in his cerum. what could the mass be?

Lymph tissue: Most likely this was the appendix, as it comes off the cecum, and it was probably lymph tissue which is normal in an 18 year old. If you are concerned, they could look with a colonoscopy - however, i would consider a follow up ct scan next.
