Work Up: The first step is a comprehensive history and physical with correlation of studies and how your life is impacted by back pain or radicular symptoms/sciatica/leg pain. Management and treatment range from the very conservative such as anti-inflammatories and physical therapy to epidurals and other interventions. Surgery is usually a last resort.
