Tibial tendonitis: Arch pain is related to the posterior tibial tendon which can attempt to over-fire against the ground, causing acute pain and tendonitis in the arch. Wearing more supportive arch shoes such as running sneakers or supportive dress shoes may help. Wearing an arch support orthotic will also help. See a local podiatrist to help you find the right fit for your foot.
