The answer: may "lie" in your lower back....a PINCHED nerve at the L-5/S1 level by a bulging disc.... A neurologic examination (this may be performed by your Primary Care Provider) is indicated. UNILATERAL symptoms usually EXCLUDE nerve disorders! Hope this helps! DR Z
