Where can i go to find a negotiated rate with aetna for my dentist?

Ask your dentist: Many dentists are part of the ppo networks of various dental plans. Yours may or may not be. It is totally up to them. Ask your dentist if they are part of the plan or would consider joining the aetna panel. Don't plan too much on it happening because many of these ppo plans widely undercut your dentist's usual and customary fees.

Aetna will tell you: Ask Aetna for a list of dentists in your area who accept their fees. Have the dentist complete an examination and X-rays. He will then submit his treatment plan to Aetna and they will mail a copy of the approval to you and to him. Remember a big company like Aetna will have HUNDREDS of plans - each with a different fee schedule. Good luck

Call AEtna: Their number is on your card. They will have a list of offices in your area who are participants with your specific plan. All fees are negotiated as well as the copayments and deductibles.
