My husband has very bad back pain and now his leg hurts. what could be used to help a siatic nerve pinch?

Sciatica: Sometimes moist heat to low back, gentle stretching (therapeutic massage may help) for tight muscles, NSAID for pain & inflammation are enough. Remove wallet from back pocket permanently; carry in front pocket. If need more relief, doc may rx muscle relaxer & stronger NSAID ± narcotic. Keep stool soft; constipation & straining increase back pain. May need MRI to check for disc problem.
