No: Mouth wash can often help kill some cavity causing bacteria but brushing helps rid of plaque build up and gets into the crivises to distrupt plaque build up that mouth wach will not effect. Best option, brush well, brush often (especially after each meal) and then use mouthwash after. Good luck.

No: Mouthwash is a good adjunct (an addition to brushing and flossing) but not a good alternative. There is no substitute for good brushing and flossing, no matter how many tv ads are out there! :).

Absolutely not: Brushing and flossing is very essential to maintaining great oral hygiene. Using a mouth wash helps, but brushing and flossing are the main methods of good oral hygiene.

No, No, No: Proper tooth brushing and flossing are both the best method and essential to removing plaque from your teeth. No rinse, mouth wash, or oral irrigator can do that. Listen to your own dentist and not marketing ads for the best advice. Certain mouth washes can be helpful but are not essential and certainly are not alternatives for proper oral hygiene methods.
