Yep: A ph of the urine less than 5.5 certainly predisposes uric acid crystals to form. Simple urine tests will help you determine if you are at risk for developing these kinds of kidney stones. Some other causes of acidic urine include: chronic diarrhea diabetes dehydration acidosis respiratory disease.
