No: Not all kidney stones pass in the urine. Some kidney stones can dissolve or breakdown in the bladder before passing in the urine. Others can remain present but never pass. See your urologist if you are concerned.

No.: Kidney stones may not always be noticeable in urine. Some other signs of stone disease other than actually seeing a stone may be frequent urinary tract infections, blood in the urine, or flank pain.
