Yes: If your hand is fractured or even if you just think your hand might be fractured, i would suggest seeing an orthopaedic surgeon for an exam and x-rays to make sure that your hand injury is treated appropriately.

Absolutely NOT: You should never try to treat a fractured hand on your own unless you are trained to do so.
