My wrist hurts sometimes with change in weather, even young people can have transient arthritis type pains in their joints.

Tendonitis : Sharp pain in the wrist in young person most often due to tendinitis. There are other potential causes such as wrist sprains and ligament injuries. Best to be evaluated by hand specialist.
