Braces: Lingual braces are more difficult for both the orthodontist and the patient and generally cost more. Invisalign is not great for establishing occlusion(the way teeth come together) and this is important for function for your life time and stabilization of the orthodontics.

Orthodontic options: Invisalign and lingual braces work! how well depends on what your teeth look like at the start of treatment, and your level of cooperation. You should discuss these with the orthodontist during your consultation appointment.

Very well: Both lingual "invisible" braces and clear aligners like invisalign are very effective and provide excellent results. This, of course, depends upon your specific needs. See your orthodontic specialist to discuss whether either option is appropriate for your situation.

Very well: Both invisalign and lingual braces work well when used by a properly trained orthodontist on a cooperative motivated patient.

The same: Invisalign and lingual braces work as well as regular braces. The nice thing about invisalign and lingual braces is that the teeth are aligned with 3d imaging, so you know what your results will look like before you start.

UInvisalignse: there are a host of issues with incognito including impacted speech and overall treatment results. We will not treat using incognito. That said, invislaign can be quite effective for many mild to moderate cases.

Not as well: While esthetic results are obtainable in carefully selected cases, the quality of the overall result is compromised. When compared to ABO standards clear aligners average about half the correction of traditional braces. Because the wire distance between teeth is smaller on the inside than the outside, lingual braces, like clear aligners, often take longer. Need finishing w traditional braces.
