See dentist: No magic answer - see your dentist or periodontist. Do not delay. Condition will not heal itself. Proper brushing, vitamins, proper total colgate toothpaste, and mouthwash, new toothbrush. But go to the dentist asap.

Periodontal Disease: There are many things that you may do to help stop periodontal disease from getting worse. 1) if you smoke, consider quitting 2) visit your dentist for more frequent cleanings 3) practice meticulous oral hygiene incorporating tools like the waterpik, sonicare electric toothbrush, antibacterial specific mouth rinses etc. Seek appropriate suggestions from your dentist of dental hygienist.

Were you diagnosed?: You say you have periodontal disease, did your dentist diagnose it and if so did they recommend treatment? You must develop prefect home care (electric toothbrush like oral b, waterpik, floss, interdental stimulators (rotapoints)) all help. Frequent hygienist visits (4 or more times per year) or I have some patients in monthly. Surgical, laser or perioprotect treatment options. See your dds.
