Depends: Some people prefer one over the other and every mouth is different. Problems with each can be shredding of the floss. I have used both and find them equally problematic.

Unwaxed Floss: The main problem if you have tight contacts between your teeth, the floss may brake, shred or simply not go in between the teeth. You may also get floss stuck between your teeth. Unwaxed floss work for some people. Some patients like glide floss because it goes in easier. More important is that whatever you do, keep on flossing. Find what you like and use it.
