I got a tb skin test today at 10:00 a.m. and its now 1:35 and its bruised where it was put in but no swelling or rash, what does that mean?

Normal: Probably the needle hit a small blood vessel. It is not that unusual and does not mean you have TB or at risk for tb. Go back and get a recheck as scheduled to evaluate for tb.

Not done well: Bruising from a tuberculin test means that it was not administered correctly. There should be no bleeding or bruising in a properly placed skin test.
