Otolith: Inner ear stones are otoliths. They're crystals in your circular canals.The crystals act as conductors between your endolymph and the nerves that go to your brain.The crystals can cause tenant tinnitus and dizziness when they break off float freely in the canal.Trained physicians can perform certain head maneuvers to correct this.

Otoliths.: The otoliths are tiny stones, if you will, that sit atop filaments in the cochlea, the vestibular structure in each inner ear. They play a role in our awareness of our place and positioning in three dimensional space. Problems with the otoliths lead to vertigo.
