Yes and No: Yes, you can take the fsh & lh blood tests after your period even if it was light (as long as you believe it was a period). Usually test on days 2-4 of cycle. No, the timing and the fsh/lh hormones will not detect pregnancy. If the period was not a real menses and you are actually pregnant with bleeding then a HCG test would detect pregnancy.
