Ovarian cysts: Ovarian cysts are commonly found- esp in young person like yourself- esp during the menstrual cycles. Majority of the cysts are benign. The cyst is not the cause of cancer- however, cancer can be presented as cyst-usually not with regular, benign cyst characteristic. The malignant cyst usually looks a bit different-septated, etc and it grows rapidly. Dont worry but have a regular follow up w/ gyne.
