Will pedialyte brake down skin if given sub q?

Disastrous idea: Pedialyte is an oral rehydration solution. It is not designed to be injected under the skin any more than your tap water. Such an attempt would likely result in the entry of contaminants & bacteria at the site & could result in cellulitis & blood poisoning.

PEDIALYTE: Is taken orally and should not be injected because it is not sterile solution and can cause skin reaction if given subcutaneously like pain and swelling, etc.
