Viral?: It is possible that he picked up a virus. Give 1 ounce every hour of clear pedialyte or other clear fluid for 24 hours. Don't force foods today. Eliminate milk and milk products also. Make today about keeping him hydrated. Use ibuprofen for the teething, it lasts 8-12 hours and has anti inflammatory properties as well as pain relief.
