Think too late: Biodentine was probably used to seal off a very small nerve exposure from cleaning out a deep cavity. Its a great product if the nerve has not deteriorated already. Because your tooth still hurts, you need to visit your dentist again. He will check the filling that was placed over the biodentine. If there is not a high spot that could be causing this pain, then you probably need a root canal.

The tooth: Probably has a very deep filling with pulpal approximation or slight pulpal exposure which is why biodentine was used. If the pain is still present and the occlusion is normal, then the tooth probably need to be treated endodontically (root canal).

No: No side effects, if you are still in pain it means you will need a root canal on the tooth in question.
