Genter: Talk with your physician, but usually people can gradually resume normal activities by 4 weeks, such as walking and bicycling. Start slow, and if you start to get pain then stop. Would also do some light calisthenics such as pushups and squats. Do something you enjoy so you keep it up. But go slow.
