I think so: The shoulder joint is very complicated joint, if you have no complication after the surgery i would give some time.

Yes: At six weeks it is not uncommon to have pain after a total shoulder replacment. Important things to know are if you are having any other constitutional problems like fevers, chills, drainage or problems with the wound postoperatively as some pain can be worrisome. I would see how you do over the next couple months assuming o/w uneventful recovery. Usually by 10 weeks people turn the curve.
