My 88 year old mother has cancer of the ureter, surrounding lymph nodes affected as well. she has chosen not to treat. what can we expect?

The ureter: Is the tube connecting the kidney to the bladder. She has two of each. If she refuses treatment and understands that the tumor first grows, bleeds, blocks kidney, goes to those node, but later may cause pain and metastasis (travel) to other organs. However, the other kidney will continue to function if it is already in good shape. Elderly people have different objectives. Take time to listen.
