What can i take to relieve pain in my wisdom tooth?

Arnica or Motrin: You need to go see a dentist who can take an x-ray & make the determination about removing it. They may give you an antibiotic if there is an infection for some temporary relief & to prepare for the extraction. Many dentists refer wisdom tooth extractions to oral surgeons as they are so far back in the mouth & can be challenging to extract. Over the counter Motrin or arnica can help with pain.

OTC medication: Over the counter medication may help. Like Motrin or tylenol (acetaminophen) but you need to see your dentist. Most likely you have an infection in the area. Your dentist will prescribe some antibiotics and treat the area as needed.
