Possible, Not likely: Fibromyalgia is chronic disorder with widespread pain, tenderness and fatigue. It affects 5,000,000 Americans and 80-90% are women. Exact causes are uncertain, but some associate onset with a physically or emotionally stressful event, like an auto accident. There does seem to be a genetic component. Best treatment involves pain clinic including pain doctor, physical therapist, and psychologist
