Depends: If new symptoms or recurrent symptoms, then new view is important to planning and care. Usually not done more often than some months unless post stents or operation.

Im about to turn 30, working on obesity, have diabetes and hbp (managed). had an angiogram done through my groin that was clean and clear, words of the doctor. still have palpitations and chest pain, any ideas why this could still be happening?
I guess I should clarify my question. If you had a CT w contrast of abdominal and pelvic cavity done, would it also include lungs? I saw on report the lung bases were clear. I just thought that would be chest CT only. So Abd/Pelvic show lungs?
