Time: You didn't specify how much time has elapsed from when your symptoms began. It seems that you've tried several conservative measures, but we don't know if you've given an appropriate amount of time for this to resolve. If all else fails, you may consider seeing an orthopedic surgeon.

I have had xrays on my left knee to see what is wrong with it due to it being swollen and hurting back in July. I was diagnosed with have patella in both knees. After physical therapy, my swelling went down - but now its back when I am moving a lot. It doesnt hurt but there is a lot of fluid on the knee and it seems to go away when I work out.
