Options: There are a number of options: a Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud oral progestins endometrial ablation in some cases a hysterectomy can still be done with a temporary bridge off of Coumadin to heparin. This would only be done in special cases, however, and in some cases would have particular risks associated with it.
