Complex issue: Tinnitus is just the finding of ringing in the ears. It can be the result of damage to the inner ear or due to development of a tumor of the ear nerve. Sound trauma and head trauma can damage the inner ear and ear nerve and cause the complex of symptoms that you describe. You need a thorough evaluation with attention to the inner ear.
