Great toe: Get it examined by the orthopedic doc/foot doc. Also x-ray to ascertain adequate healing.

Ask your doctor: Fractures usually do no heal in 3 weeks time, but they can feel better. Bone healing is usually closer to 6 weeks. If you stop protecting the [healing] fracture, you may jeopardize your progress. Talk to your podiatrist.
