Xray the toe again: Fractures to the small toe usually take between 6-8 weeks to heal if the fratcure is non displaced . If the fracture was displaced the healing can take over 3 months and might require surgery to realign.

Would need to see: Xrays. I would check her vitamin d levels to see if they are normal. Bone normally heals in around 6-8 weeks. In a healthy person a toe fracture should heal relatively quickly. Low vitamin d, smoking are deterrents to healing as would walking on it.
