Maybe: It is best to see the dentist asap. Pain is a sign of decay/infection. The sooner you see the dentist the better the chances are that the treatment will be a simple fix.

Yes: Using oragel will not cause any harm. Unfortunately it wont really help the situation either. You need to see a dentist asap to treat the cause of your pain. The sooner you go, the better the possible prognosis.

Won't hurt: Will only mask symptoms, not fix what's wrong. You may also want to take an otc analgesic exactly as stated on the package directions until you can get to the dentist. Pain means a fairly significant problem that's been there a long time. Please get to dentist asap to treat the infection.
