See another dentist: See a dentist that can see you right away. You might need to visit the oral surgeon or periodontist. No need to wait, there are plenty of dentists who are happy to see emergencies.

Go sooner: Call your dentist and find out if there is an appointment sooner than 1 month. If you explain that you are in pain and they still don't offer anything sooner, then call another dentist. Thre are plenty of good dentists out there that are willing to work you into their schedule the same day if you are in a lot of pain.
