Yes: Glaucoma can result in vision loss and blindness if untreated. If there is no consensus on your diagnosis i would recommend that you see a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist. Your doc should be able to refer you.

Yes-untreated: Untreated glaucoma can lead to severe visual loss and even to total blindness. If you are having difficulty with consensus on a diagnosis you may want to reach out to an eye institiue; ie. Wills, bascom palmer, mayo etc.
