For What Diagnosis: What is your diagnosis? "cannot sit or bend" needs a careful workup first. Caution to not have anyone inject you without a specific diagnosis. Most people doing spine injections (e.g. "pain docs") have not had any spine training whatsoever. Epidural steroid injections help only for certain conditions, and are useless or even harmful if used indiscriminately.

Many Possibilities: Depending on how long it's been going on, i would consider an evaluation by a spine specialist. Sometimes it could be a muscle imbalance, early onset arthritis or scoliosis. Also could be a pinched nerve/herniated disc. Either way it might be good to figure it out and get appropriate treatment. Depending on why your back hurts can determine which injection maybe helpful.
