2nd opinion: If you had surgery to repair your meniscus and you are not better either the problem was not effectively resolved or there are other contributing factors to explain your failure to recover. It could be due to residual synovitis, degenerative arthritis, traumatic arthritis or perhaps other causes.

Need thorough reeval: Persistent pain after meniscus surgery could be due to many factors: insufficient rehab/pt; other disease in the knee such as articular cartilage damage (chondromalacia, djd, arthritis), additional tearing of the meniscus; rarely, nerve pain (saphenous neuritis, lumbar radiculopathy, crps) or other... Talk to your surgeon. Consider getting a second opinion from a specialist. Good luck.
