A member asked:

I have buccal exostosis. should i get surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most likely not: Buccal exostosis are a bone mass growth on the outer part of the gum. At first they may seem like a tooth growing out of place. These can happen on the lower or upper parts of the mouth. These bone growths are not malignant and can be removed with surgery.
